Explanation:

1) Gold is the most malleable of all metals. A single gram can be beaten into a sheet of 1 square meter, and an ounce into 300 square feet. Gold leaf can be beaten thin enough to become transparent.

2)It increases in size and it does not break. But when wood log is beaten, it does not change its shape but it breaks into pieces

  • Gold
  • WHEN A BLACKSMITH BEATS AN IRON PIECE, THE SHAPE OF THE IRON WILL CHANGE BECAUSE IRON IS A METAL AND ACCORDING TO THE PROPERTIES OF METAL, IT HAVE MALLEABILITY WHICH MEANS WHEN A METAL IS BEATEN, IT BECOMES THIN CHANGING ITS SHAPE. BUT IF WE BEAT A WOODEN LOG IT WILL BREAK BECAUSE WOODEN LOG IS NON METAL AND A NON METAL DOESNT AQUIRE A PROPERTY OF MALLEABILITY.

Hope it helps you
