.

2.) Abul Fazal

The 'Ain-i-Akbari' was written by Abul Fazal, the minister and one of the nine jewels of Akbar's court. It is one of the most important source materials on the administration and culture during the reign of Akbar. It is divided into five volumes.

3.) Daulat Khan Lodi

Babur, a Central Asian ruler and a descendant of the Mongol conqueror Genghis Khan, invaded India and defeated the Lodi Empire of Northern India. The battle of Panipat was between the armies of Babur and Ibrahim Lodi. Babur was invited by Daulat Khan Lodi to defeat Ibrahim Lodi.

4.)The battle of Panipat was militarily a decisive victory for Timurids. Politically it gained Babur new lands, and initiated a new phase of his establishment of the long-lasting Mughal Empire in the heart of the Indian Subcontinent.

5.)Maharana Pratap

The revised books will now teach students Maharana Pratap conclusively defeated Mughal emperor Akbar in the 16th-century Battle of Haldighati. Until now, students in Rajasthan learnt that the Battle of Haldighati, which took place on June 18, 1576, was inconclusive.

6.)Akbar abolished the poll tax or jizyah, which the non-muslims were required to pay. He abolished the pilgrim tax on bathing at holy places such as Prayag and Benaras. He involved a number of Hindus into the nobility. Most of these were Rajput Rajas who entered into matrimonial alliances with Akbar.
