Ozone layer depletion causes increased UV radiation levels at the Earth's surface, which is damaging to human health. Negative effects include increases in certain types of skin cancers, eye cataracts and immune deficiency disorders.

2.Some of the bacteria can detect specific chemicals, like sugar, and when they sense it, they move towards them. Photosynthetic protists, such as euglena, can detect light using special sensors. All organisms are able to sense their environment in unique ways and respond to it.
