1. Law of conservation of momentum. OR
Newton's third law of motion.

2. Momentum is the quantity of motion OR product of velocity and mass of an object.
S.I unit --- kg.m/s
Impluse is the total effect of force. It is measured in newton second (Ns)
1 impulse = 1 Kg.m/s Or Ns

C |___________D

AB = 1.5 m
BC = 2 m
CD = 4.5 m
a) Total distance travelled = AB+BC+CD
= 1.5 + 2 + 4.5
= 8 m
b) Resultant displacement = AD = 5.9 m ( approximately )
( Join AD and find its length using ruler )
( Use 1 cm = 1 m)
