Given:

The relation a*b= a + 2b

To find:

The value of 2 * (3 * 4)

Calculation:

Simplify the required value by using the above relation

=> 2 * (3 * 4) = 2 * ( 3+2(4))      [a*b= a + 2b ]

                    = 2 * 11

                    = 2+2(11)

                    = 2+22

                    = 24

       

The value of 2 * (3 * 4) is 24 [Option c]
