Answer:

a)in a right angle triangle

one side is always 90°

other is given 59°

sum of the triangle - 180°

so

90°+59°+x= 180°

x= (180-149)=31°

b) in a isosceles triangle two side are equal so Angle also equal

one angle given 100°

so

100+x+x = 180°

2x= 80°

x= 40°

1) Solution:

Given angles are 90° and 59°.

Let the other angle by x.

Therefore, 90°+59°+x = 180° (angle sum property)

149 + x = 180°

x = 180° - 149

x = 31

Thus, the other acute angle is 31°.

2) Solution:

Given angle 100°, other two angles are equal.

Let the two equal angles be x and x.

100° + x + x = 180°(angle sum property)

100° + 2x = 180°

2x = 180° - 100°

2x = 80°

x = 80/2

x = 40

Thus, the two angles are 40° and 40°
