1. One of the methods of cleaning waste gases coming ou
gases coming out of industries is to pass them through a
scrubber, which has screens containing solvents. Do you think oxides of nitrogen and sulpher
can be removed this way?

This is because oxides of nitrogen and sulphur are gasses and scrubber is made up of metal . So they can't be taken out by metal.
