Given :- Perimeter of a square is 20 cm, then what will be the area of that square. ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Perimeter of square = 4 * side
  • Area of square = (side)²

so, let us assume that, the side of square is a cm .

then,

→ Perimeter = 4 * a

→ 4a = 20

→ a = 5 cm.

therefore,

→ Area of square = (a)² = (5)² = 25 cm² (Ans.)
