= 15 m sq.

area of gate = length × breath

= 2×1

= 2 m sq.

Area of wall - area of gate (because only wall is going to be painted)

= 15 - 2

= 13 m sq.

cost of colouring = 13 × 100

= rs. 1300

therefore cost of painting = rs 1300.
