Ba(OH)2 + NH4CL + heat -> BaCl2 + 2NH3 + 2H20

2. The reaction between lead nitrate and potassium iodide is an example of a precipitation reaction.

Lead nitrate reacts with Potassium iodide to form Lead iodide and Potassium nitrate.

Pb(NO3)2 + 2KI + PbI2 + 2KNO3

the precipitate formed is yellow in colour
