Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer.

It is considered as a indeterminate form.

In different branches of mathematics we consider indeterminate form as an algebraic expression which is obtained in the context of limits. If the expression does not give enough information to determine the original limit it is considered as a indeterminate form.

We have 7 basic indeterminate form. Among them we also have 1^∞.

And it is quit confusing why it is indeterminate as we know that 1 multiplied how many ever times gives us 1 .

Simply know this thing :  Limits are about the path or the journey , not the destination.

And here 1 may be approached from below (real plane) , and if we consider complex plane it can be approached from everywhere. Hence giving different value.

THIS IS THE SIMPLEST WAY I COULD EXPLAIN WHY IT IS INDETERMINATE .
