What is the smallest natural number that when multiplied by 180 has a product that is a perfect square?

For these type of questions, you just have to factorise the given number.

Here, 180 = 2X2X3X3X5

So, to make it a perfect square you have to make pairs of identical numbers i.e. 2X2 and 3X3.

And we have found that 5 is left unpaired...
You just have to multiply 5 with 180 to make it a perfect square i.e. 5X180 = 900, that is the square of 30.
So, 5 is your required answer.
