x=z (verticaly opp angle)
x+z=180 (sum of Vert.opp.angle) - 1
y=w (verticaly opp angle)
y+w=180 (by above reason) - 2
by adding 1&2
x+y+w+z=360
2x+2y=360 {x+y=w+z}
2(x+y)=360
x+y=180
Therefore AOB is a straight line.
