1) question - Every rectangle is parallelogram.
answer - true
reason - In both quadrilateral the opposite sides are equal.
2) question - Every parallelogram is rectangle.
answer - false
reason - In rectangle each angle is 90° but in parallelogram each angle isn't 90°.
yr Aisa kaise ho Sakta h.
Pls explain! aur ye bhi batana ki aisa answer kaise aaya.

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the properties of parallelogram & rectangle.

  1. Properties of parallelogram states that parallelogram is a 2-D( 2 dimension, meaning, having no height ) formed due to four intersecting lines. Magnitudes( numeric value ) of it's opposite sides are equal. Also, it's opposite sides are parallel.
  2. In this cases, adjacent sides may or may not be perpendicular ( intersecting at 90° ).

In short parallelogram has four sides, from which opposite sides are equal. [ Adjacent may also be equal, but it's not mandatory ] [ Also, Adjacent sides may or may not intersect each other at 90° ]

1. Properties of rectangle states that it's a 2D figure formed due to four intersecting lines. It's opposite sides are equal and adjacent sides intersect each other at 90°.

On observing the properties,

We get, all the properties are much similarly, except :

Parallelogram : Adjacent sides may or may not intersect at 90°

Parallelogram : Adjacent sides may or may not intersect at 90° Rectangle : Adjacent sides intersect( for sure ) at 90°.

Thus, a parallelogram can be a rectangle ( if its adjacent sides intersect each other at 90° ) but since parallelogram can also be defined for other angles ( except 90° ), every parallelogram can't be rectangle.

Definition of Rectangle

A rectangle is also termed as a parallelogram as the opposite sides are parallel and equal, but with each angle equal to 90 degrees. On the other hand, if all its sides are of equal length, then it is called a square
