the material to be electroplated with is taken as the -ve electrode ie cathode and to electroplated with is takenas+ve electrode ie anode .the electrolyte to be used is coppersulphate solution. These materials should be kept ina vessel .-veelectrode is connected to the -ve terminal and the +ve electrode to the +ve terminal of the battery.when current is passed for some time we can see that iron spoon is plated as copper          Artificial sattelites are used for weather forecastng,militaary purposes,to find out mineral wealth, to take photographs of the earth etc
