ANSWER

5 People are to arranged 3 rooms given that no room is empty.

There are 2 basic possibilities :

1.(2,2,1)      2.(3,1,1)

There are 3 rearrangements (room rearrangement) for each possibility.

For 1. Since there are 5 seats in each room

⇒ Permutations =5P2×5P2×5P1

                             =53×42

                             =4000.

⇒ For 2.  =5P3×5P1×5P1

                 =53×4×3

                 =3000.

⇒ Total =3×(4000+3000)

              =21000 ways.

Hence, the answer is 21000.
