Answer:

(1-secx)2 + (1+secx)2

1 + sec∧2x -2secx + 1 + sec∧2x +2secx

=2secx and -2secx will cancel each other and and rest

=1+sec∧2x +  1+ sec∧2x

= 2( 1 + sec∧2x )

= 2 ( 1 + 1 + tan∧2x )

= 2 ( 2 + tan∧2x )

hope it will help u

Hey mate!!

it is of the form (a+b)(a-b) =a^2-b^2

1-sec^2

=tan^2
