Explanation

sec^2 a-tan^2 a = 1

(seca+tana) (seca-tana) =1

since seca+tana=√2+1

seca-tana=1/√2+1

CONVERSIONS

1+sina /cosa = 1/sina + sina/cosa

seca+ tana

and

1-sina/cosa = 1/sina-sina/cosa = seca-tana
