1. solve the following equations. (a) 1/7(2x-4-x/2=4

1/7(2x-4-x/4)=4

take LCM of bracket wali term

1/7(4x-4-x/2)=4

1/7(3x-4/2)=4

3x-4/2=28

3x/2=28+4/2

3x/2=56+4/2

3x/2=60/2

3x/2=30

3x=60

x=60/3

x=20
