 {( \sqrt{x} - 1) }^{2}  = 8 -  \sqrt{28} \\ x + 1 - 2 \sqrt{x}  = 8 - 2 \sqrt{7}  \\ x  - 2 \sqrt{x}   = 7  -   2 \sqrt{7}   \\ on \: comparing \\ x = 7

Hey

( √ x - 1 ) ² = 8 - √28

=> x + 1 - 2√x = 8 - 2√7

=> x - 2√x = 7 - 2√7

Here see ,

When we compare both the LHS and RHS ,

We get that

x = 7

and 2√x = 2√7

So ,

in place of x , 7 is coming .

So , x = 7

thanks :)
