(ii) true

(iii) Sodium chloride contained in glomerular filtrate is partly reabsorbed in renal tubule. When there are high levels of uric acid in urine, the uric acid stones or crystals are formed in the kidney. Excessive urination is a symptom of kidney stones.

(iii)  false

(iv) The renal artery provides the blood flow to the kidney. The renal artery first divides into segmental arteries, followed by further branching to form multiple interlobar arteries that pass through the renal columns to reach the cortex.

(v) false

(vi) Uric acid stones form when the levels of uric acid in the urine is too high, and/or the urine is too acidic (pH level below 5.5) on a regular basis. High acidity in urine is linked to the following causes: Inherited problems in how the body processes uric acid or protein in the diet can increase the acid in urine.

(i)The glomerulus is a tuft of small blood vessels called capillaries located within Bowman's capsule within the kidney. Glomerular mesangial cells structurally support the tufts. Blood enters the capillaries of the glomerulus by a single arteriole called an afferent arteriole and leaves by an efferent arteriole.
