by the pythagoreas theorem In right angle triangle hypoteneuos squared = base squared + perpandicular squared h^2 =b^2 + p^2

-2 = -4/2 and 5= 10/2 five rational number between -2 and 5 are -3/2, -2/2, 0/2, 2/2, 3/2
