1). The motion represented by the part AB is 'Retardation'

2). Distance travelled = 25 km

Explanation:

1). At point A , the body has highest velocity . It slowly comes to rest from  

   point A to B . Therefore , this type of motion is called as 'Retardation'

2). Distance travelled = Area of Velocity - Time graph

                                    = 1/2 * Base * Height

                                    =  1/2 * 5 * 10 = 25 km
