1. Take few grains of Pulses wash them and soak them for 6-12 hours. Drain
the water and wrap them in a wet cloth for overnight. Open it in the morning

Observation:
The pulses germinated. There was a thick white thread like structure coming out from one end of the pulse grain. The pulses were a bit softer and were not as hard as they were earlier.
Germination is the process of a seed to develop into a new plant. The process of germinating grains is called as sprouting and the germinated grains are called as sprouts. For the process of sprouting, the seeds need to be soaked in water for about 8 hours and then left in a dark or lighted moisture laden place.
