(1 ) the base angle of a triangle are in ratio 2:3 and the vertical angles is 50° . find the measure of base angles.

(2) if the vertical angle is thrice the base angle of an isosceles triangle is 30° more than the vertical angle, find the measure of all the three angles.

Step-by-step explanation:

(1) Let the base angles be 2x and 3x.

We know that sum of all angles of a triangle us 180°.

2x + 3x + 50 = 180

5x + 50 = 180

5x = 180 - 50

5x = 130

x =  \frac{130}{5}

x = 26

Now the measure of base angles can be found by substituting the value of x.

Hence the base angles are :-

2x = 2 \times 26 = 52

and

3x = 3 \times 26 = 78

Hope it helps!!!
