1)The difference between square of two consecutive even integer is 92.Find the integer.

Let the two consecutive even integers be x and (x − 2)
Given x2 − (x − 2)2 = 92
⇒ x2 − (x2 − 4x + 4) = 92
⇒ x2 − x2 + 4x − 4 = 92
⇒  4x  = 96
∴ x = 24
Hence the two integers are 24 and 22
