1. let the no. be x.

2/3x - 1/2x = 13

4x-3x/6=13

4x-3x=13 X 6

x = 96.

2. Let the no. be x.

3/5x + 2/3x = 16 + x

9x+10x/15=16 + x

9x + 10x= 15(16 + x)

19x = 240 + 15x

19x - 15x = 240

4x = 240

x= 240/4

x = 60.
