Answer (i) :-

Given:-

  •  \sf \: Distance \: between \: Delhi \: and \: Lucknow \:  = 500 \: km

  •  \sf \: Average \: speed \:  = 50km/hr

To find:-

  •  \sf \: Time \: taken \: by \: the \: bus \: to \: cover \: the \: distance \: at \: an \: average \: speed \: of \: 50 \: km/hr

Solution:-

 \implies \sf \: Speed \:  =  \frac{Distance}{Time}

 \implies \:  \sf \: Time \:  =  \frac{Distance}{Speed}

 \implies \sf \: Thus \: , \: time \:  =  \frac{500 \: km}{50 \: km/hr}

 \implies \sf \:  \: 10 \: h

Hence, the time taken by the bus to cover the distance at an average speed of 50km/hr is 10 hours.

Answer (ii) :-

Given:-

  •  \sf \: A  \: car \:  is \:  moving  \: at  \: an  \: average  \: speed \:  of \:   \: 50km/h  \: takes  \: 5h  \: to \:  reach \:  its  \: destination.

To find:-

  •  \sf \: Distance  \:  \: covered

Solution:-

⇝ \sf \: Speed \:  =  \frac{Distance}{Time}

⇝ \sf \: Distance \:  = Speed \times  Time

⇝ \sf \: Distance  = 50km/hr \:  \times 5h \:  = 250km

Hence, the distance covered by the car is 250km.
