Area of Path =  400 m²  two paths of 5 m width drawn inside a rectangular field 50 m * 35 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming  shaded portion  is Path

Area of one Path = 50 * 5  = 250 m²

Area of Another Path = 35 * 5  = 175 m²

Overlapping Area = 5 * 5 = 25 m²

Area of Path = Area of one path + area of Another Path - OverLapping Area

=> Area of Path =  250 + 175  - 25

=> Area of Path =  400 m²

Area of Field = 50 * 35  = 1750 m²

Area of Field Excluding Path = 1750 - 400 = 1350 m²
