1. The Mean of 12 numbers is 20.

If each number is multiplied by

6, then the new mean is 6×20=120

2. The Mean of 30 numbers is 16.

If each number is divided by 4,

then the new mean is 16÷4= 4

explanation :

if we multiply our data set by a constant value or divide our data set by a constant value, then the mean, median, mode, range, and IQR will all be scaled by the same amount.

1. Total of 12 numbers = 12 × 20 = 240

Given that : Each number is multiplied by 6 then new Mean = (240 × 6)/12 = 120 ✔✔
