Question :-- Change the voice .

Points :--

There are two basic rules for converting sentences from Active Voice into Passive Voice, which are common for all tenses :---

1) The places of subject and object will be interchanged in the sentence.

Active voice :- Sub. + have/has + P.P.form of verb + obj.

Passive voice:- Sub.(obj.) + have been/has been + P.P. form of verb + prepositional by + obj.(Sub.)

2) Only 3rd form of the verb or Past Participle (e.g. written) will be used as a main verb in Passive Voice.

Answer :---

→ Active :- 1) The people welcomed the minister.

→ Passive :- The minister was welcomed by the people.

→ Active :- 2) They found him guilty of murder.

→ Passive :- He was found guilty of murder.

→ Active :- 3) John Mathews built this house in 1991.

→ Passive :- This house was built by John Mathews in 1991.

Answer:

\bold{Information\:regarding\:voice:-}

There are 2 kinds of voice.

  1. Active voice
  2. Passive voice.

Active voice refers to sentence which doesn't have any verbal change. It is completely a simple sentence which we use regularly as simply as we can.Like:-

  • I like the boy.

But passive voice refers to sentence which has definitely a verbal change which we usually don't use. Like a passive voice :-

  1. The boy is liked by me.

Here the object is which we usually use as subject. There is a mistake in verb as imaginable. But there isn't any mistake in verb as a fact.
