Answer:

Perimeter = 230 2( l+ b ) = 230 , 2(70 + b) = 230. 70 + b = 230/ 2 = 115. b = 115 - 70 = 45 area = 70 x 45 = 3150 square.cm

Answer:

Given :-

Perimeter = 230 cm

Length = 70 cm

To Find :-

• Breadth

• Area

Solution :-

As we know that

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

230 = 2(70 + b)

230 = 140 + 2b

230 - 140 = 2b

90 = 2b

90/2 = b

45 = b

Breadth = 45 cm

Now,

Area = L × B

Area = 70 × 45

Area = 3150 cm²
