1. The perimeter of a square is 40cm. Find the length of its diagonal. 2. Give reason:- Every rectangle is a square. Every parallelogram is a trapezium. 3. In a quadrilateral, angle A=63*, angle B=54*, angle C=136* angle D=117*. Are these the measures of a trapezium?

1. given perimeter of square = 40cm
we know perimeter of square = 4*side
=> 4*side = 40 => side = 10cm
diagonal = side * sqrt (2) = 10*1.414 = 14.14cm
2. every sqare is a rectangle with length = breadth but every rectangle is not a square as a square has to have all sides equal. a rectangle can have different length and breadth measures.
in a parallelogram opposite pair of sides are parallel and equal but in trapezium opposites pair of sides are parallel. therefore, parallelogram is a special trapezium with parallel side equal.
3. in quad ABCD, gIVEN ANGLES DO NOT FORM ANY TYPE OF A QUADRILATERAL AS SUM OF all the four angles is not equal to 360.
