As we know that:-

  • Ratio of length is to breadth is 5 : 4

  • length/breadth = 5/4

Substituting Values:-

25/b = 5/4

5b = 25 × 4

5b = 100

b = 100/5

b = 20 m

Solution:

Ratio of the length and breadth of a rectangle is 5 : 4

Let, length = 5 m

Breadth = 4 m

According to problem,

⇒ 25/b = 5/4

5b = 25×4

5b = 100

b = 100/5

b = 20m

∴ Length of the rectangle = 20m
