SI = (PxRxT)/100

829.5 = (Px10x3)/100
(829.5x100) = Px10x3

P = 82950 / (3x10)
P =2765

Or

For Quick Approach..
as we know in case of simple interest 10% becomes 30% in 3 years and 30% is our interset of 3 years so if we devide 829.5/30 = 82950/3000
which comes 27.65 and it's 1% of our Actual Amount so as we need 100% or our Actual Amount so multiply 27.65 with 100 then our answer will be 2765. Or Easiest way is
So in 2 steps
1. 829.5/3 = 276.5 -> One Year Interest
2. Rate = 10% and 1 year Interest is 276.5 so 100% is 2765.

I think you forgot to put decimal between 829 and 50 so i had solved it with 829.50 if this is not the case and you have written correct then please add 00 in 2765 and then your answer will be 276500.
