1)This type of asexual reproduction shows how parts of plant give rise to new

plants. This type of asexual reproduction occurs through natural and even artificial

ways.

2) It shows how full-grown parental organism divides into two daughter cells.

Single- celled organisms, like bacteria and some protozoan are generally produced by

this type of asexual reproduction.

Required Answer :

1) Vegetative Propagation

\dashrightarrow In vegetative reproduction, production of new plants takes place from the vegetative parts of the plants like roots, leaves etc.

Natural methods :

★ Vegetative propagation by stem.

★ Vegetative propagation by root.

★ Vegetative propagation by leaves.

Artificial methods :

★ Grafting

★ Layering

2) Binary Fission

\dashrightarrow Binary Fission is the type of asexual reproduction in which parent cell splits into two identical cells . Amoeba, bacteria reproduces by binary fission.

Some More Information:

  • Asexual Reproduction

\longmapsto The process of production of new individuals by a single parent is called asexual reproduction

Some other methods of asexual reproduction:

  • Multiple Fission

\longmapsto The process of splitting of parent cell into many identical cells is called binary fission.Plasmodium reproduces by binary fission.

  • Budding

\longmapsto In budding ,small outgrowth from body detaches and matures and becomes new organism.Hydra reproduces by budding.

1. Vegetative reproduction : Formation of new plants from vegetative units called vegetative propagules such as buds, tubers, rhizomes, etc.

By natural means, underground stem structures like s.uckers, rhizomes, corms, bulbs and tubers, c.reeping stems like runners, stolons and offsets, roots, leaves, etc. help in natural vegetative propagation.

By artificial means, it includes methods like cutting, layering, grafting, micropropagation, etc.

2. Binary fission : This includes division of parent into two small nearly equal size daughter individuals, e.g., bacteria, protozoans, etc.

Also, multiple fission is the type of fission where there is division of parent into many small daughter individuals simultaneously, e.g., Amoeba and plasmodium. While, multiple fission is division of parent into many small daughter individuals simultaneously, e.g., Amoeba and plasmodium.

Asexual reproduction : This type of reproduction refers to the production of offsprings by a single parent without information in fusion of gametes. The offsprings receive all of their genes from one parents so identical with each other and are called as clones.
