Steps of construction :-

1) Draw a circle of radius 4 cm.

2) Take a point B in the exterior of the circle sucht that d(O, B) = 7 cm.

3) Draw seg OB. Also take point P on the opposite ray of ray OB on the circle.

4) Take point Q on the circle between the points P and B.

5) Draw perpendicular bisector of seg OB and get its midpoint L.

6) Draw an arc with radius OL and centre L.

7)Mark the point of intersection of the arc with the circle as R.

8) Draw line BA on which point R lies.
