The Northern Hemisphere is the half of Earth that is north of the Equator. The climate is hot and humid near the Equator, but as you go up towards the poles, the climate gets colder. This is why Indonesia, lying in the tropics, has warm climate, while the UK, in temperate regions, has moderate to cold climate.
