Hey friend,
Here is the answer you were looking for:

Question:
1 / 2x + 5x = 7 / 2x + 8

On cross multiplying, we get,

=> 2x + 8 = 7 ( 2x + 5x )

=> 2x + 8 = 14x + 35x

=> 8 = 49x - 2x

=> 8 = 47x

=> 8 / 47 = x

=> x = 8 / 47

HOPE MY ANSWER WOULD BE HELPFUL TO YOU!!!
AND IF YOU FOUND IT HELPFUL, THEN PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST.
THANKS...

 \frac{1}{2x} + 5x = \frac{7}{2x} + 8 \\ \frac{7}{2x} - \frac{1}{2x} = 5x - 8 \\ \frac{6}{2x} = 5x - 8 \\ 6 = 10 {x}^{2} - 16x \\ 5 {x}^{2} - 8x - 3 = 0 \\
by quadratic formula yo'll get
x=(4+sqrt (13))/5
x=(4-sqrt (13))/5
