Do you think 'The Proposal' is a great comedy? How?
Read the outlines given below and using your ideas, write a short story in about 200 - 250

"Gautam had always been a very thoughtful boy." He was gentle........
(ii) Three boys were standing outside the Principal's office. One of the boys had a black eye and
another had a bruise on his cheek. The boys were feeling very nervous because they knew
they had broken a rule......
(iii) I was driving fast. As I hit the main road I saw an upturned motorbike and a man lying beside
it. I decided to help but the thought of my grumpy boss and a prefixed business meeting......
(iv) Dark night- quiet jungle-sounds of footsteps - followed footprints trail-reached lonely
house hidden behind trees- entered shocked to see
Nigmt before the zonal debate competition.........Everyone was fast asleep, while I was
practising......suddenly.
(vi) A peaceful village - hardworking, simple, honest people - some tourists - plan to befool
villagers - give hopes of employment - collect money - escape -- village youth unite-search-
culprits found - punished.
(vii) Jasmine. Ali and two other friends decided to go on a picnic to a beach. They packed their
bags and were quite excited. They reached the picnic spot and came across a small child who
was crying........
(viii) On October 4, we all were decorating our house to colobrate the most long a awaited fcstival,
Diwali. My heart was filled with excitement to meet my father after a long gap of six years.
But a call from the army headquarter left us stunned.....
