in case 1 the product will form as hydrated copper sulfate crystals which will turn to blue.In case 2, MgSO₄ will form with release of hydrogen gas.

Explanation:

In case 1, the one molecule of cooper sulfate will make weak bonds with 10 molecules of water thus forming blue crystals as Cu ions tend to have blue color.The water molecules will reduce the force of attraction between the ions of the salt and thus the Cu ions  will make the the crystals the blue in colour. In case 2, Mg being more electropositive than hydrogen in reactivity series will replace hydrogen from the  compounds and will make bonds with the sulfate ions thus forming MgSO₄ and thus the hydrogen will combine with each other atoms forming H₂ gas which will evolve out.
