hailstone is a kind of stone but not it is is a solid form of of water which is precipitated on the surface of Earth this happens when the tiny droplets of water gets attracted towards each other and then forms big droplets of water due to high altitude it then freezes at the low temperature which then falls down due to gravitational force of the earth
