A. Directive Principles of State Policy aim to create social and economic conditions under which the citizens can lead a good life. They also aim to establish social and economic democracy through a welfare state.

A.Directive Principles of State Policy (DPSP)- Concept and Features. Directive Principles of State Policy (DPSP) are mentioned in the Part 4 of the Indian constitution from articles 36 to 51.

A.The two important sources of the Directive Principles are: The Constitution of the Irish Republic which contains the principles of Social Policy for the guidance of legislators. The ideas of Mahatma Gandhi which influenced the framers of the Constitution.
