1) Natural environment is the nature that surrounds us. It contains biotic and abiotic components. They are distinct but affects our life and activities.

2) Sand dunes are the masses of sand which are made by WIND ACTION in desert. The winds carry sand through desert. When velocity of wind becomes less then the sand gets deposited at a place and form sand dunes.

3) Nitrogen (78%) and oxygen (21%) and (1%) carbon dioxide and other gasses make the bulk of the atmosphere.

4) Tides are the periodic rise and fall of sea water and is caused due to gravitational force of the moon. There are 2 types of tides, SPRING TIDES and NEAP tides.

5)The wood of the coniferous forests is used for making pulp, which in turn is used for the manufacturing of paper and also newsprint. Softwood that is found in these forests is used for matchboxes.
