QUESTION:-
1)What effect can current produce when it flows through a conducting solution?
ANSWER:-
1)when current flows through the conducting solution an effect of reaction can take place and all the constituents of that conducting solution can also separate .positive ions will accumulate on cathode and negative ions will get on anode.gas bubbles may also can be observed . sometimes deposition of metals also occurs on electrodes and change in solution also occurs
QUESTION:-
2)On what factors the chemical effect produced by an electric current depends?
ANSWER:-
2)it depends on the material of which the electrodes are made whether they are made up of carbon or some other material
it also depends on nature of conducting solution that how much is its ability to conduct the electricity

Hey ✌️
1st ANS:-
When electric current is passed through the conducting solution, then solution gets decomposed into ions through electricity and this can be seen in the form of bubbles in solution. This is termed as electrolysis.
2nd ANS:-
It depends on the nature of the conducting solution (through which it is passed) and on the nature of electrodes used for passing electric Current.
