(i)Iron is most important metallic mineral of the modern industrial world.

(ii)It is used to manufacture steel which is used in making machines , instruments , tools etc.

Two uses of copper;

(i) It is used in electrical wires , electric motors , generators , etc. Copper is also mixed with gold for making jewellery .

(ii)Most copper is used in electrical equipment such as wiring and motors.

Two uses of bauxite;

(i)In building material and road aggregates

(ii)Bauxite is used in a lot of industries like the chemical industry, refractory, abrasive, cement, steel, and petrol industry .
