1)a plant or an animal that lives in or on another plant or animal and gets its food from it. Parasites sometimes cause disease.

2)They get their food by growing on other living organisms and getting their food from that organism. Other types of fungi get their food from dead matter. These fungi decompose, or break down, dead plants and animals.

3)Tapeworms,Anisakiasis and Hookworms are some parasites which feed on human blood.
