Crystallization is the process by which a solid forms, where the atoms or molecules are highly organized into a structure known as a crystal. Ways by which crystals form are precipitating from the solution, freezing, or more rarely deposition directly from a gas.

The use of crystallization are :-

  • To obtain sugar from its solution in water
  • To obtain salt from its solution in water
  • To obtain copper sulphate from its solution in water.
