Explanation:

ELEMENT :-)

1. An element is a substance that is made entirely from type of atom. For example, the element hydrogen is made from atoms containing a single proton and a single electron.

2. COMPOUND :-) Compounds are chemical substances made up of two or more elements that are chemically bound together in a fixed ratio.

3. LPG = LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS

CNG = COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS

4. USES OF LPG AND CNG

Lpg is used for domestic purposes Such as Cooking food , Lpg as Water heater also in portable Heater .

CNG is used in Vehicle .

5. Matter = matter is any substance that has mass and takes up space by having volume.

6. Molecule = The smallest unit into which a substance can be divided without changing its chemical nature

7.PURE SUBSTANCE = Pure substances are substances that are made up of only one kind of particles and has a fixed or constant structure.

Answer:

1)An element is a pure substance that is composed of only one kind of particles.

It cannot be broken down into simpler substances by physical or chemicals means (except in nuclear reactions).

2) A compound is a pure substance composed of two or more elements, chemically combined with one another in a fixed proportion by mass.

Examples of compounds are water, carbon dioxide, sodium chloride, copper sulphate, etc.

3) LPG – Liquefied Petroleum Gas. CNG-Compressed Natural Gas.

4) The uses of LPG and CNG gas are similar with both used as fuel in vehicles, to power appliances and fuel industrial processes. They both can be used in place of petrol (gasoline) or diesel fuel in cars, trucks and stationary power generation.

Other uses of LPG - liquefied petroleum gas - and CNG - compressed natural gas (methane) - include cooking, heating and hot water.  CNG can also be used in place of piped natural gas, as can LPG.

5 )Matter is defined as anything which occupies space and has mass.In other words, matter has both mass and volume. For example, air, water, sand are matter but heat, light, sound, shadow, vacuum, hatred are not matter.

6) A molecule is the smallest part of a substance that has the physical and chemical properties of that substance. In some respects, a molecule is similar to an atom. A molecule, however, is composed of more than one atom.

7) A pure substance consists of a single type of particles. All constituting particles of a pure substance are same in their chemical nature.

It has a uniform composition throughout.

It cannot be separated into other kinds of matter by simple physical methods.  EXAMPLE  Soil,Air ,Tea,Paint

Properties of compounds are :

A chemical compound is formed as a result of chemical reaction of the constituent elements.

A compound is always made up of the same elements combined together in a fixed proportion by mass.

The properties of a compound are different from those of its constituent elements.

It is not possible to separate the components of a compound by physical methods.

The constituent elements can be separated only by chemical or electrochemical reactions.
