1.power sharing is desirable in many groups becz. so that no one can get all the power and can misuse it.

2.The Parliament elects a President (As per the rules in Lebanon, the president
must belong to the Maronite sect) every six years to a single term. The
President is not eligible for the re-election. The president and parliament together
choose the Prime Minister (the prime minister must belong to the Sunni
Muslim community). The deputy prime minister’s post is fixed for the orthodox Christians.
The speaker’s post is only for Shia Muslims.A new twist in Lebanese politics happened when
the Doha Agreement settled a new
trend in which the opposition was allowed a veto power in the Lebanese Council
of Ministers and confirmed religious Confessionals in distribution of political
power.

3.Sri Lanka continued with their Majoritarian measures which later lead to a violent civil war. They continued to prefer the majority community (sinhalese) and neglected the needs of tamils.Belgium changed their constitutin four times between 1970 to 1993 to accomodate a proper arrangement of power sharing.1.)equal representation was given to french and dutch speaking people in union and central govt.2.)Community govt. was introduced to take decision on linguistic matters3.) Brussels(capital of belgium) was given seperate constitution and powers and it was not answerable to central or state govt.

6.majoritarism means a person who supports government by a majority.
The majoritarian concept has increased the strong feelings of alienation among Sri Lankan Tamils because of the series of majoritarian measures adopted by the democratically elected government in Sri Lanka.A series of majoritarian measures were adopted by the democratically elected government in Sri Lanka after its independence in 1948 to establish Sinhala Supremacy.(i) In 1956 an Act was passed to recognise Sinhala as the only official language thus disregarding Tamil.(ii) The Government followed preferential policies that favoured Sinhala applicants for university positions and government jobs.(iii) A new constitution advocated that the state shall protect and foster Buddhism.
